90s Kidz

Hi everyone,

This post isn't beauty related at all but I just wanted to share this video with you. If you're a 90s child like me, then I know you would enjoy this as much as I did. Trust me, it's been on replay since I first watched it! (And I've shared it on every single one of my social networks just to spread some happiness in the world haha.) I have been a fan of Will Smith's for years and I just think he is very talented and the most genuine and nicest man in the whole entire world. I would love to meet him! But then again, who wouldn't love that?

Anyway enough chit chat for now...

Here is the video, enjoy!

Hope you guys enjoyed that :) Perfect start to the long weekend if you ask me!

Haul: Clinique, Victoria's Secret & Mary Kay

Hi guys,

So my Mum recently just came home from her holiday and brought me back some goodies from my aunties!

First up is Clinique's dramatically different moisturizing lotion* which is Step 3 of their 3-step skin care for very dry to dry combination skin. I am sure those of you who have sensitive skin would be pleased to hear that this has been allergy tested and fragrance free. Although I am pretty happy with my current skin care routine, I am looking forward to using this especially since I have never tried anything by Clinique!

Another product which I am excited to try is Clinique's take the day off makeup remover for lids, lashes & lips*. I am very curious to see how this compares to my Bioderma Crealine H2O which I absolutely love using for removing makeup.

Over the years I have been a massive fan of Victoria's Secret so you could imagine my excitement when my Mum handed these over to me. Enter Victoria's Secret daily body wash* and hydrating body lotion* in Pure Seduction. These smell fantastic thanks to the presence of red plum and freesia. I even have the matching body spray which I obtained years ago by my bedside table.

Next up is Mary Kay's concealer* in Beige 1. I was so glad to see this in the bag as my tube of Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer is nearly empty. I have yet to use it but I did swatch it on my hand earlier and the colour will be perfect for hiding these dark under eye circles of mine!

The next product is Clinique's Almost Lipstick* in Black Honey. I have yet to try this lip product but Clinique claims that it is a "glossy, sheer, non-staining lip colour. Soothing to the lips. Lips feel moist with a shiny finish." I'll be the judge of that! It does look incredibly dark in the bullet but I'm sure it would look nice when applied lightly and smudged a little.

Last but not the least is a palette* from Clinique which contains a colour surge eye shadow duo. The light shade is from their blackberry frost duo and the darker shade is a stay matte eyeshadow in Slate. It also includes a soft-pressed powder blusher in Pink Blush. Though the colours are not in the neutral end of the spectrum, they still look wearable in the day time and I can't wait to play with this palette!

I absolutely love haul posts and videos. Hope you enjoyed reading about my haul!

Note: Products marked with an asterisk (*) in this post were gifted to me.

Have you girlies tried any of these products? Let me know what you think!

Valentine's Manicure

Hi guys!

Sorry I haven't been posting for a while, life is keeping me busy to say the least. I hope you are all well!

I am currently typing this as I wait for my manicure to dry completely. Looking at the finished product I am pretty pleased with it and I think it is the perfect combo for a Valentine's Day manicure. Hope you like it too!

I used Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Pomegranate as the base and Barry M's Pink Sapphire Glitter on top.

This was the first time I've ever used Barry M's answer to gel nail polish and I've got to say, I am very impressed! The consistency of it is cream-like and thicker than their usual nail polishes. It dries almost instantly which is such a bonus as I am normally the kind of girl who paints her nails and has to wait hours for them to dry. Glad that I can finally say goodbye to those days!

I am definitely going to pick up some more! They retail for £3.99 so it is £1 more than their normal nail paints but they are so worth it! They are currently on offer both in Boots and in Superdrug.

Have you tried out Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints yet?

Travalo

Hi everyone,

I have recently got my mitts on a Travalo perfume atomiser and if for some reason, you have never heard of it before then please keep on reading.

If like me, you don't enjoy lugging around pretty glass bottles of perfume in your handbag then you should consider getting one! This little thing is perfect for people who travel a lot as it is lightweight and pretty small, only a little bit bigger than a lipbalm! It is also aircraft approved which is perfect for those of you who go abroad a lot. This means you can wave goodbye to spillages and/or explosions of gorgeous smelling perfume all over your clothes! Yay!

I got mine in jet black as I thought it would look timeless and classic. However, it is available in a range of different colours. You can purchase one from either the Travalo website, Boots, FeelUnique or CheapSmells (which is where I got mine from as it was the cheapest at £6.80 compared to £12).

It is very easy to use and refills in seconds. You need to remove the nozzle of your chosen perfume and place the bottom of your Travalo and just pump it up and down. VoilĂ !

Have you picked up a Travalo? If not, will you get one?

Nail of the Day | Barry M's Raspberry

Hi everyone,

So if you know me at all then you would know that I absolutely love nail polish! I find that even a simple manicure makes a woman look so much more sophisticated and polished.

For the past few days I have been sporting a nail polish which I think is the perfect colour for winter. It is by Barry M and the shade is in Raspberry.

I have been a fan of Barry M nail polishes for years and it is definitely my go-to brand when it comes to nail polishes, thanks to the affordable price tag at £2.99 (even less with my 10% student discount at Superdrug!) and the huge colour selection.

I absolutely love the formulation of Barry M nail polishes as it is in my eyes perfection: not too runny yet not too thick. I find it very easy to apply and the colour pay off is pretty much the same as what you see in the bottle.

Would you wear this colour? Have you tried out Barry M nail polishes?
