Valentine's Manicure

Hi guys!

Sorry I haven't been posting for a while, life is keeping me busy to say the least. I hope you are all well!

I am currently typing this as I wait for my manicure to dry completely. Looking at the finished product I am pretty pleased with it and I think it is the perfect combo for a Valentine's Day manicure. Hope you like it too!

I used Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Pomegranate as the base and Barry M's Pink Sapphire Glitter on top.

This was the first time I've ever used Barry M's answer to gel nail polish and I've got to say, I am very impressed! The consistency of it is cream-like and thicker than their usual nail polishes. It dries almost instantly which is such a bonus as I am normally the kind of girl who paints her nails and has to wait hours for them to dry. Glad that I can finally say goodbye to those days!

I am definitely going to pick up some more! They retail for £3.99 so it is £1 more than their normal nail paints but they are so worth it! They are currently on offer both in Boots and in Superdrug.

Have you tried out Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints yet?

Anna's Review | Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré

Hi everyone,

I know, it's been a while!

I thought I would share with you all my quick review on a well known beauty product, Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré. I watched a video about it ages by pixiwoo's Sam & Nic (YouTube) who swear by it so obviously I got a little curious. I bought mine for £10, available from Love-Makeup

It is a rich, creamy moisturiser which does what it says on the box. I however found it left a satin sheen on my face which I am not a fan of. I thought it wasn't hydrating enough for my combination skin either. It does make my foundation glide on beautifully, but I wouldn't repurchase it just for that and because of the steep price tag!

All in all, it isn't a bad product. Everyone's skin is different so what may not work for me, may work for you. I just think that my Olay moisturiser suits my skin better and is far easier to obtain as I can just pop into my local Boots or Superdrug store! Review will follow soon.

Have you tried the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré? What did you think of it? Let me know what your holy grail moisturiser is!
